As a Personal Banker within PNC's retail branch organization, you will be based in Detroit, MI at the Detroit Medical Center branch. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.

The job description includes acquiring and deepening the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities, managing the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve the customer's financial wellbeing, collaborating with ecosystem partners to grow customer's share of wallet, positioning PNC solutions to drive new revenue and customer loyalty, driving proactive sales conversations through internal and outbound interactions, creating customer loyalty and growing customer share of wallet through a differentiated customer experience, applying product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate and solve customer problems effectively, and managing risk through adherence to all policies and procedures.

Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role. Listed below are skills, competencies, work experience, education, and required certifications / licensures needed to be successful in this position.

Preferred skills include accountability, banking, client loyalty, customer experience, customer service, identifying opportunities, leveraging technology, and proactive sales. Competencies include banking products, digital awareness, effective communications, managing multiple priorities, matrix management, problem solving, prospecting, retail lending, selling, and understanding customer needs. Work experience typically requires an Associates or equivalent degree as well as related experience or product knowledge to accomplish primary duties. Typically requires 3+ years experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
