As the Leader of Corporate Employee Experience, you are responsible for creating and maintaining a positive and engaging work environment for all employee-partners within the organization. This role involves implementing and monitoring programs and initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction, well-being, and overall experience. You will work closely with management, and other departments to ensure that employee-partner needs are met and that the company culture aligns with its values and goals. Additionally, you will lead a team of professionals dedicated to improving the employee-partner experience and fostering a sense of belonging and community within the organization.

Manage and direct the Employee Experience functions and teams.
Supervise and direct Employee Experience Specialists.

Manages Orientation / Onboarding processes
Responsible to provide a positive Employee-Partner experience beginning with onboarding and throughout their employment

Assists Employee-Partners through Benefits / 401(k) Open Enrollments
Provides support to department managers in their effort to manage Employee-Partners through education of Employee Experience procedures and practices.
Coordinate / Conduct Employee-Partner meetings for facilitated training, policy communication, etc.
Have a practical understanding of Buffalo Rock Company's Affirmative Action Programs, 401(k) Retirement Plan, Flexible Benefit Plan, Family Medical Leave Act, Disability Program, COBRA, Employee Assistance Program, workers' compensation procedures, counseling / progressive discipline policy, EEO policy, anti-harassment and anti-discrimination policies, attendance and leave policies, Professional Conduct policy and Group Health Benefits Program.
Manages administration of Family Medical Leave for eligible employees.
Involvement with the local SHRM and other agencies, i.e., Chamber of Commerce, etc.
Manages Unemployment Compensation Claim preparation and coordination of unemployment hearings with Managers / Supervisors.
Review, screen, and provide guidance regarding application of discipline policy.
Prepare disciplinary actions.
Prepare termination reviews.
Works with and deals ethically and effectively with all levels within the company and outside the company.
Oversee and manage records concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and attendance.
Oversee and manage new hire check-ins. Ensure consistency with completion and monitor Employee-Partner responses in Company Performance Management Software. Ensure follow-up with EPs is completed timely.
Oversee and manage the evaluation process and ensure consistency with disciplinary and other records - 30-60-90-day evaluation and annual performance evaluations.
Conduct exit interviews to identify reasons for employee departure and make recommendations to improve the employee experience based on data and information gathered.
Ensures compliance with all equal employment, non-discrimination, and non-harassment laws and policies.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
Must exhibit a high level of ethical and moral conduct while at work or in attendance of any off-site function during work hours or after work hours while representing the Buffalo Rock Company.
Responsible for continuous self-improvement through the knowledge and use of all Buffalo Rock provided training, either web-based, in-house, or any other provided method. Must successfully complete assigned training curriculum, including but not limited to online and / or facilitated training.
Ensure that every reasonable precaution is taken to protect the Company from possible damage, theft, or other liabilities.

Required Education and Experience
Education : Bachelor's Degree (four-year college) - Field of Study : Human Resources degree preferred. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, must have a High School diploma or GED.
Experience : Must have at least 2 years HR experience; Required
Other Skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft suite of products including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. SharePoint experience; Preferred.
Certifications : PHR or SPHR certification must be obtained within a two (2) year period upon hire
Licenses : Valid driver's license required
Other Requirements : Knowledge of business and management principles, involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, and coordination of people and resources.
