Responsibilities :
- Greet and assist patients during intake and triage, including obtaining vital signs and medical history
- Support clinical documentation and EMR data entry for providers
- Maintain clean and organized exam / treatment rooms; restock and sterilize equipment as needed
- Monitor patients and communicate any status changes to clinical team
- Assist with patient flow, coordination, and transfers within the facility
- Respond to patient calls and requests in a timely, compassionate manner
- Follow infection control policies, safety protocols, and facility procedures
Requirements
License / Certifications :
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification – RequiredMedical Assistant Certification – Preferred but not mandatoryMinimum Qualification / Experience :
High school diploma or equivalentCompletion of a Medical Assistant or healthcare support training program preferredPrevious experience in a hospital, clinic, or urgent care setting is advantageousStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentFlexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduledDuration : 6 months contract with the possibility of another 6 months extension
