Senior Systems Engineering - 5+ years

Think Tank is a woman-owned small business with more than 27 years of proven success delivering exceptional IT and consulting services to the federal government. We are currently seeking an ideal candidate for the position of Senior Systems Engineering : 5+ years to support a high-impact staff augmentation project with Fairfax County, Virginia. This position is conditional upon contract award expected in September / October 2025. Résumé of successful candidate(s) will be included with our proposal. The requirements are as follows :

• Systems Engineer will analyze existing systems, domain, server configurations, storage and storage sub-systems, to ensure the functions of all critical systems and requirements to optimize performance.
• Systems Engineers will verify the existing configurations within the current Fairfax County Information Technology architecture and make recommended changes, or as part of a team doing system administration, design, implementation and integration of new products and solutions.
• Five or more years of experience with extensive network design, Infrastructure architecture, analyses, and deployments.
• MCSE certification or equivalent documented expertise level required.

• Microsoft Group Policy Management and Windows Configuration Service Providers (CSP)
• Microsoft Systems Center Endpoint Manager (SCCM and Intune)
• Exchange 2016 / 2019() EOL
• Windows Terminal Server
• Microsoft Office365 Products and Services
• SQL server , 2017 / 2019 (and beyond)
• MSS 2013, and beyond
• Windows Image Format, Windows Deployment Services, and Windows Operating System Deployment
• PowerShell, Bash for Windows, Visual Basic, Batch Scripting for Windows Systems Management
• Apache
