Come join our team on a new contract supporting a joint customer Program Office responsible for acquiring the future GEOINT Ground Architecture that will provide the user community with capabilities in a modular, open architecture that provides global, persistent, real-time surveillance and activity-based intelligence information.
As the System Engineering Management (SEM) Lead you will oversee systems engineering efforts within a dynamic, evolving program environment. This role will involve leading a team of systems engineers and other technical professionals to ensure adherence to engineering processes, documentation standards, and mission requirements. The SEM Lead will be instrumental in guiding the program's systems engineering lifecycle and will act as a key point of coordination across various functional areas, ensuring successful delivery of technical capabilities. This position is critical in supporting the overall mission objectives of the program and requires a strong leader with the ability to manage both the technical and strategic aspects of systems engineering. Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Serve as the lead for a cluster of systems engineers, including requirements engineers, risk analysts, and schedulers.
Ensure adherence to established engineering review board (ERB) processes.
Collaborate with program managers, solution epic owners, and thread architects to align engineering efforts with long-term program goals and vision (e.g., 2035 strategic vision).
Identify and implement best practices to improve systems engineering workflows, processes, and outcomes.
Communicate technical and strategic updates to division leadership and program stakeholders.
