Description :

Our specialty practice is seeking a Medical Assistant . This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, where multi-tasking skills are key. You will have a high degree of responsibility and independence. This position will consist of front and back-office duties including :

Responsibilities :

• Preparing patient for exams and / or procedures
• Vitals and rooming patients
• Administering medications
• Maintaining exam rooms
• Maintaining medical supplies and inventory for rooms
• Data entry into Electronic Health Record (EPIC)
• Scanning and faxing
• Insurance Authorizations and Referral Entry
• Medical Record entry
• Scheduling / Rescheduling Appointments
