Job Description
We are seeking a highly qualified National Construction Lending Business Development Manager to join our organization in the United States. This critical role will be responsible for driving substantial growth in Granite's construction lending risk management portfolio nationwide, establishing strategic partnerships, and identifying lucrative business opportunities in the dynamic construction and real estate markets.
Formulate and execute comprehensive national business development strategies to significantly expand our construction lending portfolioProactively identify and pursue high-value business opportunities with mortgage brokers, developers, builders, and real estate investors across the United StatesConduct thorough analysis of market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making and maintain competitive advantageEstablish and cultivate robust relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams, to ensure long-term business successCollaborate effectively with regional teams to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery and achievement of national objectivesPerform rigorous financial analysis and risk assessment of potential lending opportunities to minimize risk exposure and maximize returnsDevelop and deliver compelling, data-driven presentations to potential clients and partners to secure new businessImplement and maintain a robust system for monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators related to business development and portfolio growthMaintain comprehensive knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in construction lending to ensure compliance and optimize business operationsQualifications
Experience in construction lending or a related fieldProven success in business development or sales, preferably in a national roleIn-depth knowledge of construction lending practices , real estate market dynamics, and financial regulationsStrong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex financial data and market trendsExcellent relationship management and networking abilitiesProficiency in CRM software and MS Office SuiteOutstanding communication and presentation skillsStrong understanding of construction industry trends and market cyclesAbility to work independently and make decisive, strategic decisionsCustomer-focused mindset with a track record of building long-term client relationshipsAdditional Information
