job_description.job_card.job_descriptionDemonstrates knowledge of Nuclear Medicine procedures in vivo and in vitro Radiopharmacy-dose calibration and calculations bio-routing of labeled products computers and some computer processing. Excellent written / verbal communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of individuals. Ability to work independently and be a functional team member in a team oriented environment. Self-motivated and able to achieve results through good organizational skills. Demonstrates a caring compassionate attitude toward others. Excellent interpersonal skills.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
In keeping with the Dignity Health core values performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgement ingenuity and initiative in the utilization of radionuclides for the diagnosis and therapy of disease.
Job Requirements
- More than one (1) year previous experience as a nuclear medicine technician
- Current on continuing education units required by the licensing boards
- Special training in Nuclear Medicine
- California Nuclear Medicine Technician certification (CT NMT)
- Current AHA CPR card (CT CPRBLS)
