HR Assistant
Location : Long Island City, NY (Hybrid 3 days in office after training)

Pay : $60,000 $75,000 / Annually

The Human Resources Assistant will provide high-level administrative and operational support to senior HR leadership, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the HR function. This individual will play a vital role in supporting HR programs and initiatives across both corporate and field operations, ensuring smooth communication, process coordination, and project execution.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and confident in managing sensitive information with professionalism and discretion. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders on key HR initiatives that drive engagement, compliance, and organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries, ensuring timely and professional responses.
- Provide administrative support for employee relations and workplace investigations, including documentation, case tracking, and follow-up.
- Manage calendars, meeting logistics, and internal communications for the HR leadership team.
- Assist in implementing and streamlining HR systems, workflows, and digital tools to improve efficiency.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes in partnership with internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and confidential HR records in compliance with company policy and legal standards.
- Prepare reports and maintain data for HR metrics, time tracking, and compensation processes.
- Support HR activities related to compliance, benefits, employee engagement, and training initiatives.
- Handle special projects, reporting requests, and other tasks as assigned by HR leadership.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR or executive administrative support role.Bilingual in English and Spanish required.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data management).Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.Exceptional organizational and project management abilities; able to handle multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.Proven ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and supporting senior-level leaders.Familiarity with HR systems (HRIS, ATS, or document management platforms) a plus.Benefits
