About The Position

Description :

The role involves providing care to acutely ill surgical and trauma patients.

It requires working in a collaborative environment with a multidisciplinary team.

The position includes caring for both general care and IMC-level patients.

The unit features a 26-bed step-down area with critical thinking and teamwork vital for success.

Patient ratios are 1 : 4 for general care and 1 : 2 for IMC.

Teamwork and advocacy for quality patient care are essential aspects of this role.

Travelers may be scheduled in multiple units based on current staffing needs.

Floating may be required to meet staffing requirements.

This position requires a fast-paced work ethic to manage a daily census of 26 patients.

The role will also involve participation in interdisciplinary support services, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and more.
