Multi-State Outside Sales Representative

Job Description

HIRING for a multi-state Outside Sales Rep, preferrably in the Birmingham or Huntsville, AL area.

Base Pay plus commission and bonuses.

Rep will be responsible for working from a home office and local traveling 50% of time.

Essential Functions of this position include :

• Secure orders from existing and potential customers by means of visiting the customer facility or contacting the customer by phone / email
• Follow up (by phone / email or visit) on quotes submitted to customers
• Submit daily activity / call reports concerning customer-related activities for quotes, orders, and problems; maintain client profiles
• Perform all assigned duties in the assigned sales territory
• Provide a territory sales forecast on a monthly basis / quarterly review
• Attend sales meetings as required
• Meet or exceed sales goals as established by management
• Plan each day, week and month before the month starts, plan each call
• Use sales tools, complete daily planner / sales program after each call and at the end of the day
• Maintain organized, up to date records of clients and sales activities
