• K0041175 Location of Employment :                    29 th Judicial District, Wyandotte County, 66101 Position / Salary and Benefits :             Court Services Officer II, grade 40, $31.77 hourly                                                                         Kansas Judicial Branch Benefits State Employment Center - Benefits (ks.gov)         Job Duties : Primary responsibilities of this CSO II position are the training and supervision of CSOs writing PSIs, performing case management duties including Diversion and DAS cases (detention alternative services).  This CSO II will have some case management and PSI duties, must maintain YLS / CMI and EPICS certifications and serve as a backup to CSO III.
• This Position will supervise a team of CSO’s and Support Staff.  Additionally, they will be responsible for training staff, as well as working with the other CSO II’s to help develop and implement policies and procedures for all CSO’s in the Juvenile Department.

This person will also conduct criminal history records checks through the various databases we have access to.  This CSO II will need to be trained in YLS / CMI, Epics and as an Epics Coach; training will be required to be completed within the first 12 months of employment and maintained annually.  They will work with local agencies such as the KCKPD, KCK Sheriff’s Department, Community Corrections and all service providers that deal with the courts.  This CSO II position supervises 10-15 juvenile offenders and will be required to become cross trained in all aspects of services provided by Juvenile Court Services.
