Mechanical Designer Job at Selectek in Kennesaw

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced mechanical designer with strong inventor skills and a history of assisting with industrial mechanical equipment design.Â

Summary :

This role will be responsible for designing and detailing large industrial equipment per customer specifications. Candidates must have excellent inventor knowledge and experience. Â

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Coordinate with the Engineering Manager on job requirements, activities, and schedules with the assignment of each job

• Work closely with the project managers and other engineering departments, using Autodesk AutoCAD 2D and Inventor 2D and 3D files and rough sketches to create details and layout drawings per instructions and concepts

• Create multi-view detailed drawings, models, and assemblies for equipment general arrangements, field erection drawings, and shop fabrication drawings using mechanical expertise, calculations, previous project files, or other direction from Product leaders

• Work closely with project managers and the engineering team to execute the client’s needs and expectations, in a timely manner and on budget

• Effectively communicate relevant project information to team leaders in other engineering disciplines, i.e., structural, electrical and process

• Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately

• Perform any other duties as may be required, from time to time, by the Engineering Manager

Required :

5 plus years of working experience in the mechanical design field using Inventor to produce industrial equipment designs.

Autodesk Inventor Proficiency

Location : Â Â Kennesaw, GA

Duration : Â Â Temp-to-Perm

Pay : Â Â $28-$34 / hr.
