A Registered Behavior Technician is a paraprofessional who can work directly with students who have significant behavioral and / or instructional needs including students who require daily implementation of a crisis management plan; require complex verbal behavior programming; and / or extensive data collection, graphing, and analysis.
- The RBT is responsible for the direct implementation of behavior-analytic services including instruction and behavioral support.
- The RBT practices under the close, ongoing supervision of a BC-ABA and / or BCBA.

Complete RBT certification requirements and apply for the exam within 6 weeks (online training, live competency & exam)Travel at least up to 40 minutesWork in the school, home & community settings to fulfill program needs.Non-school hours under H&CS programAvailability for school day, afternoon & evening hours. Some weekends based on client authorization.Non-school hours under H&CS programAttend required supervisionMaintain RBT certification as mandated by the BACBCurrent certification in both CPR / First Aide and Safety Care Training (De-escalation, and Escorts & Restraints)Requirements
Credentials and trainings in compliance for current service role (BHT, PCA, Para)Paperwork and BHT supervision attendance in good standing (supervision required for BHTs)Work a minimum of 10 hours / week of billable servicesMinimum 2 months of service with CCRES. 6+ months employment - preferredWorked a minimum of 1 year directly with individuals with special needs – preferredInternal candidates must submit their updated resume.CCRES is an equal opportunity employer.
