• Administer medications in accordance with physician's orders.\n
• Maintain accurate and complete records, documenting all nursing assessments, interventions, and patient response.\n
• Assist the physician with management of office visits.\n
• Provide patient education and instruction.\n
• Communicate with patients as applicable.\n
• Maintain patient centered data in a neat and organized manner including chart entries, documentation, or communications to be sent externally.\n
• Comply with adverse event reporting and patient privacy policies.\n
• Give intramuscular and subcutaneous injections as ordered. Perform phlebotomy as needed, or as prescribed / ordered.\n\nThe Must Haves\n
• Registered nurse. Membership in local, state, and national societies is encouraged.\n
• ACLS is required. As well as continuing certification with Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).\n
• Solid nursing background, concentration, or willingness to obtain advanced knowledge in GI specialty.\n
