A law firm seeks an experienced Estate Planning Attorney to join its practice in Belleville, IL. This position offers a path to shareholder status and opportunities for professional growth.

Duties

  • Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
  • Advise clients on tax implications related to their estates.
  • Assist in the administration of trusts and estates, including the probate process.
  • Coordinate with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals involved in estate planning.
  • Draft business agreements, manage entity formation, and handle basic business transactions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of substantive experience in estate planning.
  • Licensed to practice law in Illinois or Missouri, with willingness to obtain the other license if not already held.

    • Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

    • Certifications

  • Licensed attorney in Illinois or Missouri.

    • Skills

  • Strong drafting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and client advisory abilities.
  • Proficiency in coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
  • Merit-based bonus system.
