Service Valet - Cadillac Buick GMC :

The Sewell Family of Companies is seeking a full-time Service Valet / Driver to join our service team. The Service Valet / Driver role involves valeting vehicles, accepting tow-ins, maintaining cleanliness in the shop, test driving vehicles, and assisting technicians. The required travel for this position is up to 250 miles. This entry-level position is ideal for responsible, active, and energetic candidates looking for a full-time opportunity and willing to contribute to our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our guests.

Job Responsibilities :

Cleans the service and shop bay areas

Helps track trucks and vehicles by recording customer's name, VIN, tag number, mileage, and existing vehicle damage

Maintains a clean and safe service drive and shop area, free of dirt, water, leaves, snow, etc.

Drives customers to their homes or places of business or delivers vehicles to guests as needed

Uses good judgment and safe driving skills.

Operates radio or similar device to communicate with dealership team

Cleans service waiting area

Empties and cleans all trash receptacles

Moves replaced parts to be recycled or returned to parts department

Cleans shop floors by operating zamboni machine

Maintains equipment by doing required maintenance and upkeep on lift systems and larger tool systems

Maintains a professional discretion

Able to work in various weather conditions (indoor and outdoor)

Maintains a friendly attitude while providing quality customer service for guests

Schedule : Monday through Saturday, 7 : 30 am 6 : 00 pm

Qualifications :

In order to be successful in this position, the individual must be able to perform each job responsibility satisfactorily, have a valid drivers license and acceptable driving record, complete a drug screening, background screening, and provide all government I-9 requirements. A combination of education, experience, and training is always considered.
