Overview
The primary function of this position is to meet the overall insurance needs of our clients. The Commercial Lines Account Manager must provide prompt, accurate, professional service to our clients, producers, and company personnel to maintain and grow our commercial lines book of business.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional day-to-day routine consultation, service, and support to insureds via phone and email.
- Provide a high level of support in obtaining, maintaining, expanding, and servicing commercial accounts.
- Renewals, including remarketing of accounts.
- Responsible for the entire renewal process for all accounts serviced; provide detailed direction for assembling pertinent information necessary to complete applications; review applications for appropriate coverage.
- Check renewal list weekly for cancellations and provide information regarding cause.
- Increase retention by speaking with insureds, highlighting the features and benefits of products.
- Develop positive working relationships with clients and engage trust through open communication while upholding an elevated level of professionalism.
- Review underwriting memos from carriers for mid-term business.
- Analyze and negotiate pricing, policy conditions, and terms; review quotations with recommendations as to the best options for price, coverage, and risk alternatives.
- Handle complaints and provide appropriate solutions or alternatives; expedite correction adjustments; follow up to ensure resolution.
- Set up and coordinate EOI and COI requests with the assistance of our outsourcing company.
- Keep up to date and fully informed on all aspects of their accounts.
- Work with producers and potential clients to quote new business accounts.
- Sign clients up for Client Management System Portal (EPIC).
- Act as a coverage expert for multiple lines and carriers.
- Maintain up to date and accurate information and client correspondence within Client Management System (EPIC).
- Document customer service actions and correspondence.
- Frequent ly replenish job-specific knowledge by participating in continuing education opportunities.
- Provide support to other members of the Customer Service Team when Service Team members are out of the office (vacation / Sick).
- Perform duties as assigned.
- Report claims to carriers.

Minimum 2 years of Agency Commercial Lines experience required.Property and Casualty Producers license required.Working knowledge of Word, Excel and the internet required.Working knowledge of Companies we represent desired.Benefits
