As a Staff Engineer in Global Facilities Construction at Micron, you will be at the forefront of creating groundbreaking solutions for our innovative manufacturing projects. This role offers an outstanding opportunity to build and empower a team of highly skilled engineering specialists, ensuring flawless execution and outstanding results!
Responsibilities
- Lead development and engineering for major manufacturing and cleanroom projects across U.S. sites.
- Assemble and guide teams of engineering subject matter experts to charter new projects.
- Collaborate daily with collaborators to refine scope through field walks and operational input.
- Act as Owner's representative during detailed development and construction phases, resolving technical issues.
- Manage overall project scope, schedule, and cost, coordinating with build, construction, and estimating teams.
- Coordinate development of design criteria, scope justification, and concept design across fields.
- Ensure compliance with safety codes, building regulations, and internal standards through change control processes.
- Review bids, contracts, and cost estimates; inspect construction progress for adherence to plans and timelines.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience with 5+ years of Facilities experience in Front-End Semiconductor Manufacturing.Strong background in operations and maintenance within Facilities.Demonstrated leadership in project management and technical team coordination.Effective communicator with skills in presenting technical topics visually, verbally, and in writing.Deep technical knowledge in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and CSA (Civil, Structural, Architectural) systems.Preferred Qualifications
