1. Monitor staff assignment being worked in accordance with Director of Patient Services, Case Management, and Administrator policies and procedures. Ensure daily all care plans are appropriately filled out or all residents.
2. Implement and maintain standards of care within the Personal Care Department for all caregivers.
3. Maintain up to date, accurate records, reports, charts and forms as required.
4. Complete a variety of forms and cards as required by billing and payroll.
5. Define staff requirements and hire, train, develop and maintain discipline of caregivers for the Personal Care Department.
6. Monthly resident weights and document.
7. Check appointment book in front office for MD appointments and arrange caregiver visit around appointments. May be required to drive for MD visits, as needed. Ensure aides have residents ready and dressed appropriately for transport for appointments and or internal appointments.
8. Insure that aides are assisting the Dietary Department during meals with serving and meal tracker completion.
9. Maintain supplies for the Aides, gloves, PPE, chuck pads, briefs, garbage bags, etc….
10. Fill in for the ACF / ALP Offices as needed.
11. Perform other duties as required.
