Join Oakbrook Corporation as a Part-Time Maintenance Technician (28 Hours / Week)

Are you a hands-on problem solver who enjoys keeping things running smoothly? Oakbrook Corporation is seeking a Part-Time Maintenance Technician to support our team at Brenwood Park Apartments . In this role, you'll help maintain a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning living environment for our residents. If you're dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to make a difference, we encourage you to apply today!

What You'll Do

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for :

  • Troubleshooting and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, boilers, and pool equipment
  • Managing unit turnovers, completing work orders, and coordinating vendor services
  • Performing routine maintenance, safety inspections, and preventative care
  • Assisting with budget planning for maintenance and capital projects
  • Responding to emergency repair requests and participating in the on-call rotation
  • Supporting nearby Oakbrook properties when needed

  • Skilled in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance
  • Safety-conscious and committed to quality

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in property maintenance or a related field
  • Familiarity with residential building systems
  • High school diploma or GED (trade certifications a plus)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Personal hand tools required
