In this role, you'll collaborate closely with developers and engineers, shaping system design with scalability and resiliency in mind. You'll share responsibility for diagnosing, resolving, and preventing issues in production—ensuring that Citadel's infrastructure remains a competitive advantage in global markets.

Primary Responsibilities :

We are looking to add to our current production engineering team in London and NY. In this role you will have the opportunity to :

• Build, operate, and maintain critical production infrastructure that supports trading and research systems.
• Partner with engineering teams to design systems that are scalable, resilient, and observable from the ground up.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across the technology stack—application, systems, networks, and storage—under time-sensitive conditions.
• Develop automation to reduce manual effort, improve reliability, and accelerate incident response and recovery.
• Continuously monitor performance, reliability, and capacity, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Establish best practices for deployment, change management, incident management, and operational excellence.

In accordance with applicable law, the base salary range for this role is $150,000 to $300,000. In addition, the employee who fills this role will be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive compensation program, as well as a wide array of benefit programs, such as medical and life insurance, retirement and tax-free savings plans, and access to other healthcare programs.
