Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair aircraft air cycle machines (ACMs) and pneumatic starter systems.
- Diagnose failures, perform repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications, and document work performed.
- Work with engineers, inspectors, and other technicians to ensure all work meets FAA and company quality standards.
- Keep a clean and organized workstation and comply with safety and regulatory protocols.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school certification is a plus5+ years of experience in aerospace component repair preferred (ACM and / or starter systems experience highly desirable)Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and precision toolsAbility to speak, read, and comprehend EnglishAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, and repair instructionsFamiliarity with FAA regulations and airworthiness standards is preferredExcellent problem-solving and diagnostic skillsStrong attention to detail and qualityAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periodsTeam-oriented, reliable, and safety-consciousBenefits
