Overview

Account Manager, Commercial Insurance 2-20 (5118) — NextPath Career Partners is seeking an Account Manager, Commercial Insurance to join the client's team in Tampa, FL . This is an onsite, direct-hire position.

Base pay range : $60,000.00 / yr - $60,000.00 / yr

SALARY : $60-$75K + Bonus (depending on experience)

Requirements

  • 2+ years commercial lines insurance sales experience
  • Current Florida 2-20 insurance license
  • Good account management mentality, strong communications skills, sales skills, personable, ability to manage long-term relationships
  • CRM : InsuredMind; MS Office, SharePoint

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing Major Business Objectives (MBO), including sales goals that meet premium and commission growth targets.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects by pre-screening for insurability and identifying client insurance needs, coverage gaps, and exposures.
  • Gather complete and accurate information (applications, questionnaires, surveys) to create comprehensive submissions.
  • Conduct client and prospect meetings to present proposals, secure deposits / premiums, and design tailored insurance programs.
  • Manage renewals by reviewing expiring policies, recommending coverage updates, and proactively servicing accounts.
  • Document all client interactions, maintain production reports, and ensure compliance with agency standards, best practices, and timely follow-ups.
