Gifted Healthcare Staff Accountant (Contractor)

The Gifted Healthcare Staff Accountant - Contractor is responsible for assisting with the preparation of account reconciliations and payroll tax filings. The successful candidate will have prior experience with payroll taxes, W2 production, and the other expectations associated with this role.

Position Location : Hybrid - 3 days in the Metairie, LA office

Primary Expectations and Objectives of the Staff Accountant :

• Prepare accounting related entries to numerous registers, journals and logs
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Regularly maintain detailed reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
• Prepare monthly / quarterly / annually required payroll and property tax filings for multiple states
• Reconciliation, production of all W2s and annual payroll reports (940 and SSA upload)
