Our small manufacturing client in Mundelein, IL is seeking a temporary or temp to hire HR Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience with processing payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations. It’s also a plus to have used ADP. KEY RESPONSIBILITES
- Process bi-weekly payroll, 401k contributions, and monthly expense reports
- Administer benefits programs, including open enrollment and employee inquiries
- Serve as the main point of contact for employee relations and HR policies
- Manage recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and terminations
- Maintain and audit employee records in ADP Workforce Now & HR Works
- Partner with the Controller on reporting, audits, and compliance needs
- Support employee communications and company culture initiatives
ANNUAL / PROJECT-BASED RESPONSIBILITIES
Support budgeting, compliance, OSHA, and audit reportingAdminister performance reviews and assist managers with the processUpdate job descriptions, org charts, and employee handbookImplement process improvements in partnership with leadershipCoordinate company events and office operations (supplies, communications, etc.)Partner with the global HR Director on projects and policy rolloutsREQUIREMENTS
Proven HR generalist or HR manager experience, preferably in manufacturingHands-on experience with payroll and benefits administrationStrong knowledge of HR policies, compliance, and employee relationsADP Workforce Now experience preferredAbility to work independently in a sole HR role
