What You'll Do :

As a Project Controls Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects by supporting project financial health and operational efficiency. This role blends project accounting, scheduling, and documentation management, with a strong emphasis on accounting.

Project Accounting :

• Manage project billing, accounts receivable, and consultant invoicing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to review project costs, track budget performance, and finalize monthly invoices.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of agency-specific billing, including FDOT and other public sector clients.
• Support the development of project proposals, including fee estimates and budget allocations.
• Prepare and analyze cost reports, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in the preparation of audit packages and compliance documentation for public agency projects.
• Maintain and update project financial records in Deltek Vantagepoint and internal systems, ensuring data integrity.
• Monitor and track subconsultant agreements, budgets, and invoicing compliance.
