About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented BIM Specialist to join our client's team in Boca Raton, FL. This role is essential to the success of electrical construction projects, with responsibility for BIM model creation, coordination, and information management throughout the construction process. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with BIM and 3D modeling tools, as well as a strong background in commercial electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate accurate Electrical BIM Models from designer and engineer instructions.
• Review designs for constructability and provide analysis.
• Audit and review 3D models from multiple trades using Navisworks Manage.
• Conduct clash detection and lead coordination meetings with project teams.
• Manage and update BIM project documents, drawings, and models.
• Perform 3D model quantity extraction and verification.
• Coordinate plan views, layouts, and final deliverables directly from models.
• Revise and modify drawings based on engineering / architectural input.
• Visit job sites to gather data and ensure design compliance with building codes.
• Ensure timely and accurate BIM file exchanges and milestone archiving.
