Proficiency with Navisworks, Total Station, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office . Strong knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) and ability to read / interpret design documents. Familiarity with Dynamo (a plus). Senior BIM Modeler / BIM Manager Electrical Contractor | Boca Raton, FL
Our client, a well-established Electrical General Contractor in Boca Raton, is seeking a Senior BIM Modeler / BIM Manager to lead their design technology initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to drive BIM adoption, mentor a growing team, and contribute to high-profile commercial electrical projects.
What Youll Do
- Develop and implement BIM standards across projects, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Lead, train, and support BIM Specialists in Revit, Navisworks, and Total Station workflows.
- Collaborate with project teams to create and maintain a comprehensive Revit Family library.
- Conduct model reviews, clash detection, and visual walkthroughs using Navisworks.
- Perform constructability analysis and ensure NEC / code compliance throughout design and construction.
- Manage BIM project documentation, takeoffs, estimates, and milestone archiving.
- Represent the BIM team in client meetings and coordination sessions.
- Supervise site visits to collect accurate data for BIM models.
