Tripadvisor is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and people-focused Sales Planning Supervisor to help lead and scale our growing sales planning team. This Associate Manager-level role will serve as a critical point of coordination between Sales, Account Management, Media Distribution, Wanderlab, and internal Systems teams, ensuring our media campaigns are executed with excellence and efficiency.
This individual will manage and mentor a team of Associate Sales Planners and Sales Planners, provide day-to-day operational support, and help drive workflow optimization, campaign delivery, and strategic planning initiatives across the business.
Job Location : New York, United States- Hybrid
This role is a hybrid position that requires 2 days per week in our New York office.
What You'll Do :
Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Manage a team of Associate Sales Planners and Sales Planners, providing coaching, development, and support.
- Act as a key escalation point for the Sales team on planner-related issues, working closely with the Sales Planning Manager for guidance when needed.
- Mentor planners on complex media deals, reviewing their work, offering strategic guidance, and joining brainstorming sessions to provide solutions and ideas.
Revenue & Operational Oversight
Analyze and report weekly revenue-at-risk data; partner with cross-functional teams to recommend optimization strategies and mitigate delivery concerns.Oversee and support billing-related escalations, collaborating with the Billing team to ensure accuracy and issue resolution.Workflow & Cross-Team Collaboration
Identify opportunities to improve team processes and planning workflows in partnership with Account Management, Wanderlab, Media Distribution, and internal Systems teams.Lead initiatives to increase operational efficiency, minimize bottlenecks, and elevate campaign execution standards.Partner with Go to Market team on new product development, workflows, evaluation and launch.Strategic Support
Assist the Sales Planning Manager in proactive media packaging and campaign strategy.Forecast inventory, contribute to rate-setting, and help craft media recommendations informed by market trends and Sales feedback.Surface market insights, learnings, strategies to further team and regional enablement.Skills & Experience :
45 years of experience in digital media planning, sales planning, or campaign operations.Prior experience managing or mentoring junior team members.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfort with revenue data and reporting tools.Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.Deep understanding of digital media products, inventory dynamics, and campaign execution.What We Offer

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. An employee's pay position within the wage range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. This compensation range may also be modified in the future.
