Position Summary
The Director of Proposals and Reprice Operations is accountable for the strategic direction, team leadership, and execution of all proposals and repricing activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
To succeed in this role, an individual must effectively perform each essential function :
- Ensure alignment with corporate pricing strategies, compliance requirements, and growth objectives.
- Collaborate with finance to validate assumptions and evaluate the financial implications of network, rebate, and formulary initiatives.
- Lead the proposal and reprice team, overseeing resource allocation and scheduling.
- Review deliverables to guarantee timely submission and compliance with RFP / reprice specifications.
- Optimize the proposal and reprice development process by identifying improvement opportunities and implementing best practices.
- Monitor performance and conduct post-submission analyses, integrating lessons learned into future efforts.
- Establish SLAs, quality benchmarks, and approval protocols.
- Ensure proposal responses meet legal standards and regulatory compliance.
- Stay informed of regulatory changes and product updates affecting RFP content.
- Uphold proposal quality, compliance, and brand consistency.
- Confirm alignment of pricing with margin goals and benefit structures.
- Supervise reprice workflows, maintain audit trails, and ensure accurate data validation.

Minimum Required Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in business, communications, healthcare, or a related discipline.At least 7-10 years of experience in PBM or healthcare-related operations.Demonstrated ability to overhaul and implement processes and systems.Familiarity with PBM savings programs.Proven leadership skills, including the ability to manage teams and consistently meet deadlines.Experience in implementing comprehensive system and process improvements.Understanding of repricing strategies and systems.Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and capability to manage multiple projects concurrently.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce persuasive and compliant proposals and reprices.Preferred : Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
