VP - Compliance

VP Compliance

The Head of Compliance is a senior leader responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the institution's compliance management framework to ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role is both strategy and hands-on, setting the vision for a culture of compliance while also engaging directly in policy drafting, issue resolution, and compliance testing.

Leadership & Strategy

• Develops and maintains oversight of a comprehensive compliance management framework that supports sustainable, systemic compliance across all business functions. - Serves as a trusted advisor to the Executive team and Board on compliance risks, emerging regulations, and best practices. - Champions a culture of compliance, ensuring it is embedded into decision-making, training, and performance expectations. - Leads the Compliance function, managing staff performance, professional development, and succession planning. - Oversees compliance-related governance committees and reporting to senior management and the Board.

Minimum Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's degree required; Juris Doctor, Master's in Business Administration, or

Certification : Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) preferred.

Experience : 15+ years of progressive compliance experience in the financial services industry. Five years in management roles, leading teams in policy governance and lifecycle management, regulatory complaint resolution, marketing / advertising compliance, monitoring and testing programs, and compliance risk assessments and reporting required.
