Assistant Store Manager

Responsibilities :

Assist the Store Manager in management of daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.

Provide exceptional customer service, resolving customer issues and building relationships.

Oversee merchandising and sales floor presentation, ensuring products are attractively displayed.

Participate in sales and sales strategy development, implementing strategies to increase revenue.

Coach and mentor store associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Utilize communication skills to effectively convey information to staff and customers.

Assist with forecasting and inventory management to minimize waste and maximize profitability.

Demonstrate leadership by motivating and guiding the team to achieve sales targets.

Effectively utilize problem solving skills to address operational challenges.

Contribute to planning and execution of marketing initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent.

3-5 years of experience in a retail management role.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

Demonstrated ability in customer relationship management.

Strong interpersonal communications skills.

Proven ability in sales and selling techniques.

Valid Driver's License.

General knowledge of operations management.

Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications :

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
