Legal Assistant – Plaintiff Personal Injury & Medical Malpractice
Location : Coral Gables, FL (On-site)
Compensation : $55,000 – $65,000 annually plus bonus

Position Summary
The firm is looking for an experienced Legal Assistant who is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to handle the fast-paced demands of a plaintiff trial practice. The ideal candidate will bring prior experience in plaintiff personal injury and / or medical malpractice litigation and thrive in a supportive, team-oriented culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Support attorneys through all phases of personal injury and medical malpractice litigation .
- Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents such as pleadings, discovery responses, and correspondence.
- Manage and maintain electronic and physical case files, ensuring accurate filing with courts.
- Coordinate and schedule depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials.
- Communicate with clients, experts, and court personnel in a professional manner.
- Track deadlines and manage calendars to ensure timely filings and case progress.
Qualifications
Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant in litigation (plaintiff personal injury or medical malpractice strongly preferred).Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, filing systems, and trial preparation.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management software.Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred, but not required.Why Join?
