Overview :
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Analyst to join the Corporate Strategy team, reporting directly to the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) and routinely interacting with Executive Management and Finance Department Team members. This role will be instrumental in supporting the development and execution of corporate strategy, capital allocation decisions, and M&A activities. The Analyst will focus on financial modeling, scenario planning, investment analysis and market trends analysis and provide insights to guide and support the companys strategic decision-making process. The role also involves preparing high-quality presentations for the board and investor community. In essence, this role plays a critical role in bridging the gap between financial analysis and strategic decision-making, ensuring that financial goals support the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities :
Financial Modeling & Strategy Support :Develop financial models for capital allocation, investment opportunities, and various operating models to support the companys corporate strategy.
Assist in scenario planning and forecasting efforts to assess business performance under different assumptions and market conditions to contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans.Work with senior management to evaluate the financial impact of strategic decisions, including resource allocation and growth investments.Corporate Strategy Development & Support :Collaborate with the CSO and leadership team to define and implement corporate strategy across various business units.
Assist in the development of long-term strategic plans.Work with other departments to understand business operations and identify areas where financial analysis can contribute to strategic goals.Financial Analysis and ResearchAnalyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. This includes examining financial statements, analyzing profit margins, and conducting variance analysis.
Conduct research on competitive landscapes, industry trends, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions.M&A Analysis & Integration Planning :Evaluate M&A opportunities, providing financial analysis, market insights, and strategic recommendations for acquisitions or partnerships.
Capital Allocation Strategy :Help develop and implement capital allocation strategies that ensure the best resource distribution across the business to maximize returns and minimize risks.
Work with leadership to prioritize investment opportunities and ensure capital is allocated to the highest-value initiatives aligned with long-term growth objectives.Board & Investor Presentations :Prepare strategic insights for the board and senior management through presentations that communicate financial data, strategic initiatives, and investment opportunities.
Assist in preparing materials for the investor community, ensuring clear and compelling messaging around the companys strategic positioning and performance.Cross-functional Collaboration :Work closely with finance, operations, commercial, and legal teams to ensure alignment on strategic initiatives and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
Support business units in executing strategic initiatives and identifying key opportunities for improvement and optimization.Qualifications :
A degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).5-10 years of relevant experienceExperience working in the Construction and Energy industries is preferredSkills and Behaviors :
