Overview
The Community Impact Coordinator role at Pennrose is responsible for developing and implementing educational, social and empowering on-site programming that enhances the quality of lives for residents while improving overall property operations. They provide resources and referrals to residents to community agencies and programs that will help meet residents' needs and aid them in being successful tenants. They ensure compliance with any and all reporting agencies.
Base pay range : $22.00 / hr - $23.00 / hr. Pay Range : $22.00 - $23.00 / hr + Bonus.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the implementation of supportive service plans and the delivery of needed programming and services at all assigned properties.
- Maintain compliance with supportive service program requirements specific to each development. Ensure each property meets PMC Scorecard requirements and that all PMC, state and federal reporting is completed on time.
- Submit monthly reports by the 5th of each month.
- Distribute newsletters by the 3rd of each month.
- Maintain rental delinquency spreadsheets due the last day of each month.
- Assess residents\' needs and facilitate access to services and / or provide resources for residents.
- Educate residents on lease obligations to assist them in being more successful tenants.
- Proactively address rental delinquency issues, housekeeping issues and resident-related issues that could contribute to high resident turnover or property damage.
- Identify, network and collaborate with community agencies to provide programming and services that educate and enhance residents\' lives.
- Work closely with management to assist with resident issues and concerns.
- Assist residents with seeking eligibility programs, resources and required documents related to housing stability.
- Act as a liaison to the larger community to ensure collaboration and partnerships to improve property functions.
- Support operational site-level projects as needed (e.g., administrative duties to help the Property Management team).
Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Social Services or related field, or two to three years of experience in the Social Service field or related area.Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.Ability to work under pressure, prioritize demands and respond with composure in a fast-paced environment with high-energy leadership.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships; responsive and considerate of others.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational ability and time management skills.Valid driver\'s license, ability to operate a vehicle, and willingness to travel (between properties, on-call emergencies, trainings, etc.).Working Conditions
Ability to work periodic flexible hours and travel by plane and automobile as required.Ability to work at property locations within or near transitional neighborhoods with PMC support.Ability to climb stairs, use elevators, bend, squat and reach overhead.Notes
