Las Vegas is known internationally as a major resort city often known for its gambling, shopping, entertainment, and nightlife. Although Las Vegas identifies as “The Entertainment Capital of the World” and is famous for The Strip and its mega casino-hotels, there is so much more to life in the Valley. From the lovely Summerlin area adjacent to Red Rock Canyon, to the beautifully developed Green Valley area set away from the hustle and bustle of The Strip, there are many wonderful communities of people and families who call Las Vegas home. Position Summary :

The Marketing Manager identifies, plans, develops and executes marketing strategies, tactics and programs within

designated service areas to drive demand for service lines and providers, foster positive relationships with referral

sources and collaborate with stakeholders to systematize exceptional patient experiences. Participates in

development and direction of marketing programs that align with the organization’s strategic business objectives

and vision. Develop new business and enhance the organization’s position in the community through outreach

efforts and public relations. Works with agency resources to leverage traditional and non-traditional advertising

channels to deploy promotional tactics; curate content locally and work with agency resources to leverage digital

and social media channels, including an ongoing focus to ensure website(s) reflect current information. Prepares

and delivers activity and performance reports.

• Initiate and manage all marketing projects. In accordance with marketing and business plans, outline creative briefings that convey objectives, target markets, preferred promotional channels, budget, etc. and submit project requests to initiate and guide creative development. Collaborate with and guide agency resources to ensure deliverables effectively support objectives and are delivered on time. Be principally responsible to ensure, directly or via facilitation, that the organization, and its service lines and providers, have collateral, are represented in paid and earned promotion, are accurately represented on digital channels, have content to share via social media channels and are generally well positioned in all public facing resources. Participate in ongoing planning sessions and meetings.
• Develop marketing plans and establish and achieve marketing goals. Work with administration, IPM Marketing Director, hospital teams, Director of Business Development and Physician Relationship Managers (PRM) in revising marketing efforts throughout the year. Notably, work in conjunction with PRM’s to conduct outreach and relationship development activities with referral sources, prioritizing new providers to the network. Seeks opportunities to assist peers.
• Increase exposure of the physician network to the community with event planning, arranging subject matter expert speakers for media opportunities, participating in health fairs, developing opportunities to provide strategic community support, etc.
• Work cohesively with hospital leadership and administrators to drive and sustain growth of the physician network. Build relationships and align efforts with hospital teams to advance shared interests and elevate brand position.
• Build alliances and partnerships through networking, including clinic staff, medical groups, assisted living facilities, associations, major employers and other groups as may make business sense.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Independence Physician Management (IPM), a subsidiary of UHS, was formed in 2012 as the physician services unit of UHS. IPM develops and manages multi-specialty physician networks and urgent care clinics which align with UHS acute care facilities. It also provides select services for the Behavioral Health division of UHS. Through continuing growth, IPM operates in 11 markets across six states and the District of Columbia.
