Weld Quality Manager

This position is a DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY!!

NSC Technologies has an immediate opening for a Weld Quality Manager in Kingstown, RI.

The Weld Quality Manager must have a broad knowledge of assembly and erection of steel and aluminum hull vessels and be a certified weld instructor (CWI).

• Must be familiar with the installation of all outfitting items required.
• Must be capable of reading and understanding shipyard construction and work package assembly drawings.
• Must be familiar with the techniques used in the proper alignment of components of sub-assemblies.
• Must have basic knowledge of acceptable welds and weld preparation and coordinate with other shifts and departments.
• Must comply with all safety procedures and guidelines, and comply with all company issued policies, procedures, rules and regulations.
• Must have excellent work ethic including excellent attendance, punctuality, and the desire to complete designated work in a timely fashion.
• Must be an excellent communicator and be computer literate.

Pay : $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
