Position : Crane Technician Specialist – Crane Specialist
Shifts : All shifts available
Compensation : $25–$37 per hour (based on experience, skills, and shift)
Position Overview :
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Industrial Machine Specialist – Crane Specialist to support maintenance operations across all shifts. This role is ideal for individuals with a solid foundation in mechanical and electrical systems who are looking to specialize in crane inspection, maintenance, and repair within an industrial environment.
The Crane Specialist will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on facility cranes and hoisting systems, as well as other industrial equipment. This includes mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, system diagnostics, and documentation in alignment with manufacturer specifications and industry standards. While relevant certifications are a plus, hands-on experience with overhead cranes and lifting equipment is key.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on overhead cranes, hoists, and related industrial equipmentConduct routine crane inspections in accordance with OSHA and manufacturer requirementsTroubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems using schematics, diagrams, and diagnostic toolsCollaborate with the maintenance team to identify and address system issues efficientlyMaintain detailed and accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairsEnsure compliance with all safety regulations, company procedures, and equipment standardsSupport broader maintenance functions as needed across mechanical and electrical systemsFlexibility to work weekends, overtime, or variable shifts based on operational needsPreferred Qualifications :
Prior experience working with overhead cranes and hoisting systemsMechanical and electrical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematicsFamiliarity with OSHA regulations and crane safety standardsStrong troubleshooting skills and attention to detailCrane inspector certification is a plus but not requiredThis is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to deepen their expertise in crane operations while contributing to a high-performing maintenance team. Leadership experience in an industrial maintenance team (3+ years preferred)Technical knowledge of heat treat operations and related systemsFamiliarity with OSHA safety standards, especially for heat treat operationsUnderstanding of budgeting and performance trackingStrong planning, communication, and interpersonal skillsPhysical Demands & Working Conditions :
