Job Description

As a Manufacturing Engineer focusing on Machining, you will design new products, provide engineering support for existing products, develop components for application to new or existing products, and reduce costs for existing designs. As a Manufacturing Engineer focusing on Machining, you will design new products, provide engineering support for existing products, develop components for application to new or existing products, and reduce costs for existing designs. This role involves working independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support existing production products and manage technical assignments that contribute to larger projects.
• Select appropriate techniques to solve problems and make informed process and programming recommendations using vertical and horizontal machines, as well as lathes, to ensure results meet established design standards and customer specifications.
• Develop and apply automation technology systems, vision systems, and laser QR etching.
• Develop and support quality inspections using various systems and tools.

Work Environment

You will be part of a product support team, assisting CNC setup operators and managing process improvements such as ECN's, cost control, and cycle time reductions. The schedule is from 7 : 00 am to 4 / 4 : 30 pm with flexibility, and there might be occasional night calls during busy winter months. The environment is collaborative, with weekly team meetings for scorecards and problem-solving, fostering open communication and shared success.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.44 - $45.67 / hr.
