As a Regional VP of Operations at GO Car Wash, you’ll provide field leadership of site operations, financial performance and customer experience of GO car washes in a multi-site / multi-market regional area. Provide a safe, This role supports our East Region (Kansas City, Virginia, and New York). Provide a safe, engaging workplace and development opportunities for Teammates. Ensure each site is delivering on the mission, to provide a convenient, consistent, quality car wash experience for customers.
We're looking for someone who will be responsible for :
- Strategic Leadership : Partner with GO leadership in establishing short- and long-term operational objectives for the region that align with the GO vision, business plans and performance goals. Collaborate with Finance to build budgets, prepare forecasts, and manage P&Ls. Plan and execute strategies for achieving financial and KPI targets, and align / manage responsibility / accountability to field leadership and site management. Seek and implement synergies, best practices and new methods for improving performance, productivity and profitability.
- Site Performance : Lead site reviews to monitor, discuss and address ongoing progress / performance and return on investments and initiatives.
- Teammate Leadership : Recruit, build and lead high performing teams with highly engaged leaders and managers. Drive alignment to performance objectives through accountability, development, and coaching. Partner with COO, HR, support and market leadership to create a winning culture that promotes the recruitment, performance, retention and advancement of Teammates.
- Customer Experience : Ensure the sites deliver the intended customer experience, consistently, across the region. Investigate, address, and analyze customer incidents, complaints and feedback to gain insights. Develop and propose solutions to improve the products, services and customer experience.
- Sales and Growth : Drive revenue growth by instilling a sales culture across all car wash sites in region. Partner with operations, marketing, field leadership and HR to develop and execute strategies, programs, promotions and incentives to drive memberships and retail sales.
- Cost and asset management : Ensure profitable operations for region by controlling costs in particular, chemical, labor, utilities, maintenance, and damage claims. Work with facilities leadership to minimize downtime, accidents and inventory. Build vendor and supplier relations to ensure the efficient, cost effective operations of car washes.
- New Site Growth : Support growth of GO within by partnering with new site development leaders and team on the scoping, planning, construction and turnover of new sites. Partner with the new site opening and marketing teams to ensure a successful grand openings and quick ramp of new sites.
- Acquisition Growth : Support growth of GO by partnering with the business development leaders on acquisitions, including the evaluation, due diligence, planning and close. Coordinate the integration process including Teammate onboarding, vendor coordination, chemical transition, and renovations.
- Safety and regulations : Direct and oversee regional field leadership and site management in complying with government and other regulatory agency requirements and laws, as well as company SOPs. Implement and manage programs to ensure overall safety, security, maintenance, etc. for car wash sites.
- GO Standards : Ensure adherence to GO policies, procedures, processes, programs and guidelines for regional car wash operations, safety and service by setting expectations, leading by example, reinforcing training, communicating / managing changes and overseeing the execution and performance of market leadership and site management. Provide feedback, identify training opportunities, create performance improvement plans, and take corrective action as needed.
- Industry relations : Network to continually build and maintain industry relations and knowledge. Participate in industry organizations / events and other networking opportunities to gain insights, share trends and learn best practices. Be an Ambassador of GO, building community relations and providing car wash expertise to help facilitate growth.
For you to be successful, we’re looking for :
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience; MBA or similar preferred6+ years of operational leadership experience in a branded multi-unit, multi-market businessRetail, hospitality, service stations or similar business helpfulComfortable working in a rapid growth environment where responsibilities shift quickly.You must also be able to :

Ability to anticipate, think critically and efficiently / effectively solve complex problems.Ability to take initiative and work independently, yet collaboratively, consultatively, and inclusively across multiple teams and stakeholders.Ability to continually analyze and improve strategies and metrics, find sustainable solutions to business, financial, operational and people challenges.Ability to simultaneously manage multiple, sometimes competing, priorities, and quickly adjust in a rapid growth, sometimes ambiguous, environment.Ability to use the GO Support Center resources effectivelyProficient with computers and database / CRM applications, strong MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), etc. and Smartsheet skills.Willingness and flexibility to travel throughout United States over 50% of the time.Compensation :
$145,000-$185,000 base salary per year, plus 35% annual bonus at 100% of plan targets tied to company and individual performance.
