Maintenance Engineer

JSG is interested in speaking with Maintenance Engineers with PLC, Boiler, and HVAC experience. This is a long-term contract opportunity with our top client in Elkhorn, NB. Pay for this role is $40hr with 40+hrs weekly and some weekends. The Maintenance Engineer will respond and assists in recovery and repair of utilities and production equipment. Troubleshoot failed electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic components utilizing basic and advanced problem-solving techniques, will require knowledge of various levels of test equipment up to and including predictive maintenance tools. Complete assigned preventative maintenance actions utilizing developed standards as prescribed by OEM and engineering specifications, includes minor and major overhauls, calibration, detailed inspections, and basic cleaning and lubricating. Complete basic and advanced corrective action repairs supporting safety, quality, and equipment reliability. Perform tolerance specific fabrication tasks utilizing shop equipment such as mills, lathes, drill press, and welding methods. Ability to utilize computerized maintenance management software such as SAP to review assigned work, generate work requirements, and document detail work completion. The ideal candidate possesses the below additional experience. 3+ years of maintenance experience (Boilers, HVAC, PLC electrical controls) Experience with SAP preferred. Experience with hydraulic / pneumatics, test equipment (amp meter, megger), familiarity with electrical standards, NFPA 70, NFPA 70E as well as CMMS and Control systems. Preferred experience with Arch Flash, third grade boilers. Certifications from Nebraska for OSHA, and / or Journeyman electrician or HVAC license Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
