POSITION SUMMARY
The National Sales Executive is responsible for driving company growth by securing new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and strengthening client relationships. This role focuses heavily on proactive outreach, including cold calling and email campaigns, while also cultivating long-term relationships with existing clients. The National Sales Executive develops and executes growth strategies, conducts market research, and prepares proposals to close high-value deals. Collaboration with internal teams is key to ensuring sales goals align with overall business objectives and client expectations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and manage relationships with key national accounts, serving as the primary point of contact.
Generate new business through cold calling, email outreach, and prospecting to expand the customer base.
Assess client needs, challenges, and goals to provide tailored solutions that drive success.
Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and products.
Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and business reviews to clients and leadership.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to inform strategies and identify growth opportunities.
Negotiate contracts and agreements to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
Maintain accurate, detailed records of all sales activities, interactions, and pipeline status in CRM (HubSpot).
Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION / TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
BA / BS in Business Management or Associate degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred experience in Waste Management, Environmental Services, Facilities, or related industries.
Proven success in cold calling and managing national accounts strongly preferred.
