Client Overview :

Our client's client is a metro utility company based out of NYC, looking to add a Quality Assurance Lead to their team.

Salary / Hourly Rate :

$60 / hr - $65 / hr

Position Overview :

The Quality Assurance Lead is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end testing lifecycle across multiple phases, including System Integration Testing (SIT), Performance Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). This role ensures that testing activities are aligned with business objectives and executed with precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Lead :

• Test Case Derivation & Collaboration :

Partner with business leads to derive comprehensive test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.

Document and input test cases into Azure DevOps, maintaining traceability and version control.

Develop detailed test plans for each test phase (SIT, Performance, UAT, etc.), including scope, timelines, resources, and entry / exit criteria.

Coordinate execution of test plans with testers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders.

Explore and scope automation opportunities to streamline repetitive testing tasks.

Track and report test results, defects, and coverage metrics to stakeholders.
