Proposal Installation Engineer (Submarine)

Your contribution to Prysmian's Success : We are looking for a Proposal Installation Engineer to join Installation Department in Milan HQ.

You will enjoy the following activities :

• Examine Tender Documentation : Review technical specifications and survey data provided by the customer.
• Develop Technical Solution : Create a solution that meets the specified requirements.
• Internal Discussions : Collaborate with Installation Engineering and other departments.
• Clarification Meetings : Participate in meetings with internal teams and the customer.
• Site Visits : Conduct site visits to understand logistics, feasibility, and potential subcontractors.
• Prepare RFQs : Issue technical specifications for potential subcontractors.
• Subcontractor Discussions : Clarify and align subcontractor offers with Prysmian / Customer requirements.
• Finalize Solution : Fine-tune the solution with relevant departments.
• Cost and Risk Assessment : Calculate installation costs and assess associated risks.
• Prepare Technical Documentation : Create the Technical Description of the Work and other required documents.
• Plan of Work : Assemble and prepare the installation Plan of Work.
• Negotiations : Participate in negotiations and clarification meetings with the customer.
• Internal Kick-Off Meetings : Participate in initial project meetings.
• Customer / Subcontractor Meetings : Attend meetings with the customer and / or subcontractors.
• Detailed Engineering Involvement : Engage deeply in detailed engineering aspects for construction.
• Assessment of Changes : Evaluate potential changes since the tender stage, including technical solutions, contractual issues, risks, and costs.
