Automotive Technical Field Manager

Location : Los Angeles, CA

Schedule : Full-time

Join a leader in automotive innovation as a District Technical Service Manager (DTSM) for Nissan in Los Angeles, California. What You’ll Do :

  • Visit dealerships regularly to assess and improve service operations
  • Instruct and train dealer technicians in proper diagnostic and repair procedures
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver industry-leading customer service
  • Perform detailed incident investigations and prepare reports
  • Evaluate buyback vehicles and manage related documentation
  • Serve as a technical SME during warranty reviews and in legal / BBB cases
  • Analyze dealership service department operations and recommend improvements
  • Promote certification, continuous learning, and best practice sharing
  • Review and approve / deny warranty / goodwill claims
  • Travel within region (day and overnight)

Your Qualifications :

  • 4+ years professional technical experience (automotive preferred)
  • 2+ years DTS / Tech Line or related industry leadership experience
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Master Status preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education, experience, and training
  • Thorough understanding of automotive mechanical and electronic systems
  • Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Master Status preferred
  • Ability to work independently in a virtual office environment
  • Valid driver’s license; Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required
  • Ability to travel for business
