All in a strong, supportive culture designed to help you succeed.We are looking for a seasoned, practical Paralegal who will be responsible in responding to subpoenas and similar requests; assisting in document gathering and preservation projects; recording and reporting subpoena-related expenses; managing and negotiating resolutions to minor disputes with customers, vendors, and other third parties; and assisting with contract review and negotiation. Required :
- Experience in : Responding to discovery requests, civil investigation demands, and subpoenas;
- Gathering, compiling, and working with voluminous written and electronic data and documents, particularly in e-discovery;
- Making, finding, and retrieving court filings; and
- Using electronic data search tools and databases.
- Strong reading comprehension abilities and organizational skills.
- Oral advocacy and negotiating abilities.
- Ability to review and revise simple legal documents, such as settlement agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and protective or scheduling orders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience managing calendars, deadlines, correspondence, and files.
- Experience with e-discovery tools. Qualifications :
- Associate degree or higher.
- Three or more years' experience at a law firm or in-house legal department, with some experience working on litigation. Huge Pluses :
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Enjoys working on litigation and dispute resolutions.
- Assumes ownership of projects and pushes them through completion. What we offer :
