Must-Have :

Interpretation of dysrhythmias

Management of dysrhythmias

IV insulin protocols

Titration of insulin drips

Feeding tube care and management

Continuous bladder irrigation (CBI)

Pre / Post hemodialysis management

Blood product administration

Central line care and management

Peripheral line care and management

PICC line management

Starting IVs

Heparin protocols

Manage cardiac drips (no titration)

PCA

Substance withdrawal

Surgical drains

Care of ventilated patient

Chest tubes (Emerson / PleurEvac)

External CPAP / BIPAP

High flow nasal cannula (HFNC)

Nasal cannula

Oxygen face masks

Portable oxygen tank

Non-invasive airway management

Tracheostomy management

Isolation precautions

Wound care / Wound vac

Description :

The position requires managing various patient diagnoses including acute respiratory failure, CHF, COPD exacerbation, pneumonia, sepsis, pulmonary fibrosis, and ILD.

The nurse will manage complex care routines while ensuring compliance with protocols.

The nurse will work with a multidisciplinary team and provide high-quality patient care.

Nurses will be expected to float to different units as needed but will not practice outside of scope.

Every other weekend coverage is required.

Call may be required as needed.

Experience with EPIC charting system is preferred.

First-time travelers with EPIC experience are welcome.

Locals will not be accepted within a 75-mile radius.

Navy blue and white scrubs are required for this position.
