Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and secure new commercial insurance clients through networking, referrals, and outbound efforts.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend appropriate coverage for small to mid-sized businesses.
- Develop tailored proposals and present solutions to clients in clear, professional terms.
- Manage and grow an existing book of commercial business by providing exceptional client service.
- Collaborate with agency team members to maximize cross-selling opportunities.
- Stay current on Farmers Insurance commercial products, underwriting guidelines, and industry trends.
- Maintain accurate records in the agency management system and ensure timely follow-up with prospects and clients.
Requirements
Prior experience in insurance sales, commercial insurance, or business-to-business sales preferred.Proficient Commercial Insurance knowledge. Ability to Help with certifications and talk about endorsements.Active Property & Casualty insurance licenseStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with business owners.Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to manage time effectively.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Proficiency with basic computer applications and CRM tools.
