Activity Director

Park View Rehab Center is a skilled nursing facility that provides a range of services, including nursing care, medical and rehabilitation care, hospice care, rehabilitation therapy is seeking an Activity Director. This position is responsible to plan, organize, and implement a program of therapeutic activities designed to meet the social, spiritual, intellectual, emotional, educational and physical needs and interests of residents in accordance with the comprehensive resident care plan.Educational Requirements :

  • Completion of a state approved training course - 36 hour certification
  • Qualification as Occupational Therapist, Therapist Assistant, Activity Professional, Recreational Therapist who is licensed or registered

Position Requirements :

  • Two years of experience conducting social / recreational programs within the past five years, one of which was full-time in a patient activities program in a health care setting
